This link opens a map showing the most recent position of s/v Phywave as determined by the internal GPS on the Iridium GO satellite communications device, then periodically uploaded and displayed by Predictwind. This internal GPS is generally very good at receiving accurate GPS signals but it is not the most accurate GPS on the vessel.  The vessel GPS is a dedicated GPS receiver with an external antenna used to drive the chartplotters used for navigation and provide position information to the AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponder which transmits Phywave’s position and other details to nearby ships and satellites on VHF frequencies.

The above link is for tracking data obtained from the Iridium GO. I anticipate discontinuing this service at some point so I have added a second tracking map using GPS data from  my Garmin InReach SE+. I’ve had the InReach on board since the beginning of my voyage but have just now activated the account. The link to the Garmin tracking map is:
